Comprehensive Evaluation
A comprehensive hearing evaluation determines how well a person hears by measuring the sensitivity to sound at different frequencies or pitches. Hearing evaluations are performed in a sound-proof booth using an audiometer that produces different frequencies at varying levels of intensity of loudness (decibels). This test will determine the severity of hearing loss as well as the type of hearing loss. There are many tests that can be performed during a hearing evaluation. Suono Hearing provides a comprehensive assessments to ensure accuracy in the diagnosis.

Hearing Aids - tailored to fit your preferences & lifestyle!
There are different kinds of hearing aids. They differ by size, placement (on or inside the ear), and how much they amplify sound. The hearing aid that will work best for you depends on the type and severity of your hearing loss. Hearing aids make some sounds louder so that a person with hearing loss can listen, communicate, and participate more fully in daily activities.
A hearing aid has three basic parts: a microphone, amplifier, and speaker. The hearing aid receives sound through a microphone, which converts the sound waves to electrical signals and sends them to an amplifier. The amplifier increases the power of the signals and then sends them to the ear through a speaker.
Newborn Hearing Screenings
Newborn hearing screenings are quick and painless. In 2008 Montana legislation required all hospitals in Montana that deliver babies provide newborn hearing screening services. Babies born outside of the hospital, or who weren't screened prior to discharge, can be seen for a newborn screening at our clinic. Audiologists report screening and diagnostic test results to the Newborn Hearing Screening and Intervention Program for reporting and tracking purposes.

Tinnitus Counseling & Management
The primary objective for all currently-available tinnitus treatment options is to lower the perceived burden of tinnitus, allowing the patient to live a more comfortable, unencumbered, and content life.
People with tinnitus experience a perception of sound often heard as ringing, roaring, hissing or clicking. This condition can often cause trouble hearing, working or even sleeping. Over 50 million Americans (1 in 5 people) are affected by tinnitus. What many people may not know about the disorder is that it is not a disease in itself, but a common symptom of something occurring within the hearing system.
There is currently no scientifically proven cure for most cases of chronic tinnitus. The search for a definitive cure is ongoing and real progress is being made.
